[Constellation Senshi] Generation 1 Serpens Ref

The Cloaked World was always odd to walk in - it was overlaid with that feeling of a memory.  

"There's a great hall-"

Her feet - human feet, because she didn't spend all of her time on the Cloaked World as Serpens - carried her to the hall eventually.  Ghosting just at the edges of her sight was that armored man, and in a haze she followed him through the pillars until he stood, looking up at something before the vision was gone, entirely leaving her before a statue.  

It was a chipped statue, worn and weathered by time - Serpens stood, hands lightly resting on his sword, armored gauntlets folded at the pommel.  His cape was etched back and caught in a unseen, unfelt breeze, and she imagined that his carved expression was one of regret.  It was hard seeing the vision confirmed as something real - not imagined, then, and something entirely... foreign.

He felt inhuman, as if the 'magical warrior with mystical powers' wasn't odd enough.  She could see the tiny details lovingly inscribed, the brush of scales across his features, the slit of his eyes, the slight lean implying a grace to his form.

"What was it like?" She knew it was odd to speak to a carved statue, stone that had no purpose other than being a form honoring - what, maybe the fallen?  That felt off.

Maybe he'd survived whatever had brought him to the Cloaked World.

She had a growing list of questions she wanted to ask this statue, including why he was so humanoid and in her senshi form she was not.

IT'S DONE.  Well, flats are.  I'm a bit proud of this, honestly. (I suck at men, for one, and for another, been a while since I designed anything, so I pulled two very old designs of mine from 2003 and 2007 respectively) and updated/modified them for Serpens.

On the left we have his "robes" appearance, and on the right his "warrior" appearance.  And the sword is not to scale but uh... I kinda like it so I wanted to show it off.  It's the size of a long sword.

Also Serpens has long hair.  What you can't see are the scales he has around his ears and eyes - hidden by hair.  He does that on purpose. Look as human as possible, Gen1 Serpens!  (Note bene - he has scales in other places, too, which will get described later!)

And pity your descendant who transforms with a gigantic snake's tail. (there's a reason, though, sooooo~)

ALSO the green armor is not striped, that was an attempt to show it's shiny metal. >_> *fails*

The sword is nicknamed 'Fang'!~  Original, right?
