Fantober: Kaylin Neya -lines-

I really wish I could better capture this but it's still not that bad and I like that (unlike the book's covers, GUH) I tried to follow the description of the tattoos covering Kaylin's arms (everything from the neck down, actually, after she meets the Old One) and make them 'thick swirls of black' on her body.

I particularly love the large one, which represents the fact that as Kaylin starts to follow her guts more she is reading them and using the Old Tongue in ways that make Dragons envious.

Since it's a book series (which is awesome, good books) a bit of an explanation- Kaylin is a human and a Hawk, part of the investigative side of the Law in the city of Elantra. Elantra is ruled by the Eternal Emperor also known as the Dragon Emperor since the Emperor is a Dragon. Dragons, Aerians (winged nearly humans), Leotines (cat-like tribal species), Barani (an elegant species with an ego to match their beauty), and the Thaalani all live with relative peace inside the city. Love the series. Love it. Should do mooooore. Kaylin is dear to my heart and I really want to know the end of her tale. *_*
