This was me bored last night, between working on the Rei/Usagi pic and a bathc of Book & Psychic Scream artwork. I took =hotaru-sama666's advice and tried my hand at a bit of a brush/manip background. Manga brushes from a pack Messa had up long, long ago.

I love how her legs and heels came out. :heart:

Damn...you know this never showed up in my message centre. It's really beautiful and I'm actually ashamed that I missed this. ^.^;

Thank you so much! My inability to reply to comments in a timely fashion more than makes up for it, too! XD

I'm not pretty sure about using this expression but I think the colors look absolutely warm :)
(sorry for my bad english :( If the word I used was wrong please let me know it xD)

I really appreciate it! I'm glad it looks warm - with so many cool colors I worried I'd make her look dead instead!

This is soooo cool. Awesome work with that pose. And with no reference. WOW!!!

X3 I rarely use a reference in fact, I don't count bending over a couch myself to see how something feels as one. :D MY doesn't that sound so wrong...

Feeling a pose is actually really good. We've been doing that in art class for our drawings.

I've been working more and more without references because of that. Nice to know that an artist I admire does the same "feeling" of a pose

I'd never actually had any backing that other folks did it - and trust me when I say that randomly posing in the middle of Starbucks gets you odd looks. But that always has been my fav fencing piece... *wanders off subject*

It's an incredibly freeing thing, to be able to work away from references! And awwww! *blushy*
