Taking the animal from the world that it belongs in always makes it seem more important - removing earth and putting it on foreign ground emphasises just what the animal is.


Stebbling is hard. The animal (debate is up for it being a red-tailed fox kit as it was originally or, because I shortened the snout, a wolf cub as it closely resembles now) alone took me about 15 hours to dot and the background itself was more than seven hours of work. I've never put so much into one piece before. I've put this into traditional because stebbling is a variation of pointelism which is a form of traditional art.

ooooo pretty and yea it does look like a wolf ... or perhaps a blend of wolf and fox ... hey it could happen ^_^ nice detailed working.

Poor thing. He looks much to young to be sent to an alien planet! T.T

I love the amount of detail in the little fox, and the background is deliciously foreign. The only problem I see is that the alien satellites seem a little close--like they're going to squish the poor thing. But it's only a problem insofar as it's a physical impossibility; as an artistic flourish, it works wonders for making the fox stand out and seem more alone.

Hmm.. I would say that he/she looks like a fox kit.. A nice healthy plump fox kit who has his/her winter coat. ^_^ *picks up and hugs gently* You're soo cute...
