My car (named Bella - after Bellatrix Black, not that twit people keep cooing over now) is in the shop getting her door locks fixed. I was worrying about the cost of repairs - I just had to get all of my tires replaced less than two weeks ago and that was pricey - but the tech called and let me know that since I had a documented history of reporting this issue, the warranty department had ruled it in-warranty. OH MY GODDESS good fucking amazing news. I could afford it and everything else but still, that's a huge amount of cash I don't need to worry about now. I'll be without my Bella for a few days but then I'll get her back and I'll take her to get cleaned professionally. (it's time, oh gods, it's time)

On to Superheroes - HEEE OMG I LOVE HERO SYSTEM. I barely understand it but I *love* the flexibility. Crafting a Occlumency-like power to hide a mind? Easy. Well not easy but do-able. Want to make a necromancer who can summon up demons and do life-drains? Possible! DUDE this is awesome. I am sad that I hunted down a system book (or so I thought) only to find out my local gaming store had failed me! GYAH. Now I'm watching for a 5th ED Revised on eBay and if that fails PDF here I come. I want a copy of this. :3 Baaad. Prolly need the software for the calculations too, which is only a few bucks more.

I WANT TO MAKE TONS. I'm going to do "research" by reading a whole bunch of comics that Ne-chan is going to lend me. *grins* I could get to liking this research...

I'm doing some more style experiments and working on "mastering" Weregeek's style. One, I love the concept of the comic and two, it's a more realistic (but still highly stylized) way of drawing.
